Here is a little bit of information on Flagler Village and Las OlasBoth neighborhoods are in the heart of emerging Downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Flagler Village

Flagler Village is an exciting and very cool neighborhood that is rapidly becoming Fort Lauderdale’s hottest downtown destination.

Not everyone who moves to Florida is a beach person. And in this town, the beach is easy to get to from downtown.  Many people prefer the energy of the city.   Art, science, culture, and history all meet on our walkable downtown streets.

Flagler Village is a 300-acre neighborhood framed by Sunrise Boulevard and Broward Boulevard and Federal Highway west to the railroad tracks.

Once an industrial warehouse district, Flagler Arts and Technology District (FAT Village) and Music & Arts South of Sunrise (MASS District), are now home to dozens of art galleries and studios and hot clubs, bars, and restaurants.  Some of these places are so hidden and off the grid, you have to ask a local.

Drawn to its eclectic vibe, Monthly art walks showcase the work of local artists and street muralists, with live music and a vendor fair. While craft breweries and coffee shops draw hipsters.

The downtown building boom has exploded in Flagler Village…. What was once industrial warehouses, parking lots and car lots sit urban chic lofts, townhouse, and mid-rise buildings.

I call it the invasion of the yoga mats as small fitness boutiques dot the landscape.   And the expanding Brightline train’s Ft Lauderdale stop is located within walking distance to everything.

As new buildings and large projects rise and continue to grow, hundreds of new retail spaces will be opening making this one of the most walkable sections of town.

It’s not too late to get into the neighborhood…. There is an urban lifestyle here for all kinds of budgets.  …  I believe in this neighborhood so much, I moved here 9 years ago as a pioneer.

I would love to show you around and show you why I see this is just the beginning of what will be a great investment as downtown continues to grow.

Las Olas

Nearby Las Olas Boulevard in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Florida is at the forefront of everything from fashion boutiques and art galleries, to memorable restaurants, sidewalk cafes and bars… set the stage each evening for South Florida’s most architecturally unique, authentic, and eclectic shopping and dining district.

Las Olas Isles is a neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a population of 1,395. Las Olas Isles is in Broward County and is one of the best places to live in Florida. Living in Las Olas Isles offers residents an urban feel and most residents own their homes. In Las Olas Isles there are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many young professionals and retirees live in Las Olas Isles and residents tend to lean conservative. The public schools in Las Olas Isles are above average.
